When I came across The Tantric Curse which is written by Anupama Garg who has been trained by Baba Batuk Nath, a renowned Tantric, I knew that I had to read this book. Tantric rituals and practices are riddled with a lot of myths and pre-conceived notions.

I would say it’s a great book which teaches us the way of life intermingled in a love story.Tantra is a field which is surrounded by intrigue and mysticism. It teaches all of us the real way to lead our life. The way Anupama speaks about Tantra is amazing. Rhea uses her learning from the Sadhana and her guru Satya. This story talks about the ups and downs Rhea went through to be with Krish. Krish and Rhea grow up together and over a period of time moved from being friends to lovers. Satya has a biological son Krish, who is few years older than Rhea. Satya, the guru of the ashram adopts her and takes care of her like a daughter. Rhea is an orphan who lost her parents in a car accident and get drawn towards the ashram. The Tantric Curse is a love story set in a Tantric ashram at Varanasi. I have not read any book on Tantra, which is a topic which is not spoken about much and is really mysterious. What pulled me towards it was the title of the book. I bought this book at the airport while travelling to Delhi. I will start the year with a book review.
